Wasatch Back Relay

Recently I ran the Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay from Logan to Park City, it was a total blast. I am already excited for next year.  My team name was the Foxy Trotters. I was runner 8 so, I ran  3.5, 7.1, and a 6 mile leg. Running in the middle of the night was probably my favorite part. I was definitely tired, but it was worth every minute of it. I ran with some great girls which made the experience that much better. I am hoping to get my whole family to run it with me next year. I was so excited when I saw Tj, Ashton and Andie up at the finish. Ashton and Andie both had a rose for me it was so sweet. I have the greatest family ever, they are always there supporting me.
My mom came up and volunteered for 4 hours, which was awesome. I was very happy to see her, she is also always there to support me. My brother Shaun was running as well and we were the running the same leg. His team was ahead of us so it was nice to have a heads up on the legs. Overall, it was a great experience the most fun I have had in awhile.

Is it a BOY or Girl?

Well the news is in! Was it a pink or a blue cake? It was blue! Brooke and Mike are expecting a baby boy, Toland Ray Smith. We had a BBQ at the  Smith's and Brooke made a cake to reveal what gender the baby was. I'm so excited for them and to see what this new little guy is going to look like and be like. This will be the 5th boy in the family Ashton, Maeser, Taft, Lake, and now Toland. Andie is still the only princess being spoiled, which hopefully doesn't last forever. Although, the way that it is going she may very well be the only girl. It was a fun night and now that we know it is a boy it is just that much more exciting. Congrats to Brooke and Mike!

There it is the Blue cake! It was really yummy too. Brooke and Mike had everyone guess a head of time whether we thought it was a boy or girl. Then whoever got it right was in a drawing for a 10 dollar gift card to Target. Maeser won he was so excited!

The kids had alot of fun playing on the swing set and swinging from the rope to the tramp. I couldn't believe how brave Ashton was swinging on the rope.

Saying goodbye to the pink balloon!

Well Ashton did it! He made it through Kindergarten, I can't believe he is going to be in 1st grade. I am so proud of him. I wanted to make his last day of school special so I found some awesome ideas from the blog secrets of a super mom. This blog has some really cute ideas.
Ashton was so excited to see this banner in the doorway!

There is nothing better than to have a basket full of fun summer activies waiting for you when you get home from your last day of school.
I made a cute sign and hung it on Ashton's chair for his special breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ashton loved every bit of his last day of school. I had fun to, I love to take every opportunity I have to make my kids days exciting and special. Ashton is also having a sleepover with granny and papa and his best buddie Maeser his cousin. What a fun last day of school!

My Birthday!

Wow, I can't believe that I am 27! Life really is just flying by, one second your just a kid playing at the park with your friends and then you turn around and your playing with your own kids at the park! I had such a great birthday yesterday. I ran in the Memorial day 5k with my family and broke my record 21 min and 38 sec, I have to say I was pretty proud of myself (HAHA). I also went on a hike with Tj, my dad and the kids up Mueller Park Canyon. It was way fun, the kids loved having thier lunch in the Mountains. After the hike my whole family came over for some great food, Tj is such a good cook and made his yummy Italian Chicken. All in all, it was a fantasic birthday, my husband is the best and I couldn't ask for a better family!

Tj is my hard working husband. He graduated from Weber State in Technical Sales and he now works for Blackberry as a Brand Advocate Trainer. He really enjoys his job and is great at it. He is also my handyman, He does all our projects around the house whether it be painting, plumbing, tiling, and pretty much anything that needs to be remodeled. Tj loves to garden and is fantastic at making homemade jelly and homemade cherry pies. So basically, if you need help with anything like that he is the man to call. He is such a great support and I love him very much. As for myself I am just a busy mom and wife. I am the 1st counslor in the Young Womens Presidency in my ward and I am enjoying that, and that does take up alot of my time. All in all I am just trying to be the best wife and mom that I can be. I am looking forward to the summer so I can go boating, which is my favorite summer activity. I can't wait for the weather to get HOT and nice so my family and I can enjoy the summer. This cold weather just does not work for me!

Our sweet little 2 year old is Andie Fae, she brings so much laughter and joy to our family. It has been so fun to watch her grow and develop. She has such a funny personality, her newest comment that she likes to use is "I'm fine mom", it makes me laugh everytime she says it because is so serious. Andie loves dogs, puzzles and coloring. She also loves to be made into a beautiful princess.

Ashton is our 6 year old "big" boy. Ashton is my best helper, he is so smart and is always wanting to learn new things. He loves to play soccer, wrestle and he wants to start playing T-ball next year. He is our little comedian and loves to make everyone laugh. He is all boy, which means he loves to play outside. He is just finishing up Kindergarten and he absolutly loved it. He is reading very well( like I said he is very smart!), he will be going into 1st grade next year. He is excited about eating school lunch. We love him very much!
